Scanning with a MacBook Pro

This is more of a comment and suggestion.

We have MacBook Airs. They interface with a Brother HL-L2380DW printer/scanner. Everything worked well. The new MacBook Pro M1 chip didn't connect properly to the 2380 for scanning. It might scan one page, but multiple pages were no longer possible. All MacBooks run the latest Apple OS update. The Apple advisor understandably didn't have knowledge of the Brother device. He suggested several things, but they didn't help. Brother provided a good work around. They have their own print/scan App on the Apple Store. It handles scanning very well. Perhaps Apple could take a look at the MacBook Pro interface and fix it. Anyway, Apple print works OK with the 2380 so I only need the Brother App to scan.
