[Resolved] Custom Audio Effects preset not saving / Custom Camera LUT not adding

Today, for the first time i wanted to save my custom audio effects preset. Selected the the new category, saved it however it was not showing up in the effect browser. I’ve tried multiple times, deleted FCPX preferences - problem still existed.

I thought it might be something with disk permissions as I also had the problem with adding custom camera lut via "general" inspector clip tab.

I'm on latest FCPX & latest Monterey. MacBook Pro 16" Intel with 64gb ram. (However problem noticed nearly a year ago on Final Cut Pro 10.6)

I followed the route of investigating Mac OSX permissions. I've created a new user account everything worked well. So, I've deleted the newly created user account afterwards and went into ProApps permissions settings. I have changed "staff" permissions to from "Read Only" to "Read & Write", and this thing started to work. Then changed back to default "Read Only" setting and still works.

I've also realised that for some reason folder permissions didn't have my user listed, so I've added it (medialook on the attached screenshot) to have it future proof. If you are single user on your Mac, are you able to share your default ProApps Sharing & Permissions access users?

I'm curious if this was me who messed this up, installed plugins or multiple system / FCPX updates.
