Is there any way to turn layers on and off in a PDF in Preview?
I've been playing wth layered PDFs and so far I have found that Adobe Reader and Foxit PDF Reader on Mac and Windows will let me turn layers on and off.
On Linux, Foxit PDF Reader and Evince will allow me to turn layers on and off.
But I can't find any way to do it in Preview.

Stick with your true PDF editors.
