Passcode Expired. Unable to use phone

I received a message on my phone stating Passcode expired. Your iPhone unlock passcode has expired. CHANGE PASSCODE. I do not remember my code and I can't get beyond the message to use my phone. What to do ?

Is your phone under mobile device management (MDM) from a company or school, or do you have a company email account on the phone? If so the administrator can require your passcode to be changed periodically.
