Watch doesn’t count stand hours correctly

If the watch is logging steps

And if the watch is logging movement

Why is it not counting stand hours?

im not levitating.

Should I just use a piece of paper and pencil to augment the data collection of stand hours?

Manually log standing hours on watch I feel quite confused on the activity app quality as it’s not possible for users to manually add the stand hours which are not correctly detected by the watch. The software user interaction design is horrible and quite behind apple’s SW quality. Even macOS’s finder is a little bit better than this one. your watch sensor is far from perfect you need to allow user to manually fix it to ensure users can track their own data in their own way. I understand manual log may disrupt your data consistency or causing issues in other related activity trend analysis BUT I don’t care, not everyone is interested in Apple Watch’s trend. I care my own trend in my own way. I’m using the watch not because your product is good but others are bad. Just cannot find any alternative atm.

Watch 7 not recording flights (stairs climbed) My watch is not recording flights. No matter how many of them I climb, it always shows zero. Rest of the parameters seems good.

You need to move your watch arm quite a bit as well as moving around.
