Dual sim iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB - Gold (Unlocked)

Hello,

I like to ask you this question. I travel a lot to Asia countries. I like to buy this iphone, Refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB - Gold (Unlocked), because it has 2 sims. I currently have T-Mobile plan which allows unlimited texts outside US. I am planning to use 1 sim for texting when outside US and I'll buy 1 international sim for call when I live in that country.

Is this phone possible for this capability?

Thanks.

FYI, any iPhone Xs/Xr or later - that’s nearly 4 years now - incorporate Dual SIMs.

Most of the World gets 1 nanoSIM slot + 1 programmable eSIM (which can hold multiple carrier profiles)

Only the phones sold in the Chinese market have dual nanoSIM slots.

You’re certainly welcome.

Suggest that you migrate your current T-Mo SIM to an eSIM on your new phone as part of your data migration.

Transfer or convert your current SIM to an eSIM on your new iPhone – Apple Support (AU)

THEN, purchase a pre-paid “bare bones / minimal service” SIM from another carrier while here in the States (e.g. AT&T, Verizon) to “practice” and learn about using Dual SIMs before you travel.

A token price paid “here” can make it much less frustrating and stressful “there.” (just getting to the Far East is stress enough)

If you don't buy this device from China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao you will not be able to use dual Sim on your iPhone!

however you still can use eSIM with nano Sim you just need to make sure that your carrier is supporting the eSIM !

I have T-Mobile carrier in the US so I think they do support eSim so I can get one regular sim card when I travel to Asia country. I have some friends in Asia so I don't want to use my US phone number to call them because T-mobile charges me 40 cents per minute. I just use US phone number for texting with my family members in the US and it is free texts even though I am outside of us.

Thanks.
