iPhone overheating to an absurd degree after update

Hi, I have an iPhone 11 pro, and as the title says, it's getting insanely hot after updating it, and the battery is draining extremely quickly. This is very much a new issue that's started happening after the latest update. Any suggestions for overheating phones, I've tried. They don't help. It gets so hot I can barely hold it, and while some apps are worse than others (tik tok and Spotify make it heat up within mere minutes), this happens no matter what. If I google something, head into settings, anything.... it overheats.

My phone and all of my apps are up to date, I don't keep tons of apps open, I'm not using it in hot conditions, I use the proper charger, have restarted it, reinstalled several apps, etc.

This has only happened since updating it. Prior to this update, I've had zero issues with my phone. If anyone has any other suggestions, or if they've also experienced this, I'd love to hear them. I've recently moved, and while I can survive without a lot, I do need to use maps fairly frequently, and with it getting so hot/the battery draining so quickly, that's a concern.
