How do I update my payment plan on iPhone

i was trying to backup my photos and videos on iCloud using a monthly payment plan. After inserting the necessary details, I was told to update my payment plan.

Open Settings
Tap your name at the top
Tap Payment & Shipping
Tap Add Payment Method
Tap Credit/Debit Card and enter a credit or debit card number and details
Tap to make that new card primary

Thank you Lawrence but I still need some more clarification. Please how do I change and add Apple ID payment method. Searched through my settings - Apple ID - payment and shipping but nothing like change there. Please help me out a little more. I’m sorry to bother you. Thanks
