[problem solved] iPad loses connection to Synology NAS in the Files app

solution:

  1. If the old smb connector is still in the sidebar of the Files app, click the exit button.
  2. Reset 'Connection to Server' in the Files app. Put ".local" in the smb server name, such as "smb://XXXX.local", even though the smb server address given by the Synology OS has no ".local" extension.
