Music app won't play my CD

I inserted a CD into an Apple external CD player. It launched Music and appears in the top window. I press the play button, I double click and nothing happens. The CD is on the desktop and when I double click on one of the songs it jumps to the Music window but still won't play

How do I hear my CD?

Music app on MacOS does not play a CD I have an external CD player connected over USB, directly, no hub. It is a Pioneer BR/DVD CD burner (BDR-X13JBK). When I open the Music app I can see the CD appear in the menu, but the app simply refuses to play it. Tested with several CD's, same result, no go. VLC however does play it without any issue. Anyone has a clue? It feels quite ridiculous. Macs could this a really long time.

Apple Music Web Player Cutting Out Constantly/Lagging Even With Good Internet Connection Hello I am using the Apple Music Web Play on Opera GX, however as of 2 days ago out of nowhere my music has begun to cut out constantly on every single song and plays them poorly. I reset my internet and everything but the issue still persists. Another detail that's even more odd however is the fact that it always cuts out at the exact same parts of songs, like if I scroll back in the to the timestamp it'll play the same exact fading/cutting out that it did. It's an issue with every song, and some songs end up just lagging entirely, with the same oddity of being able to rewind and hear the same issue. It's almost is if the CD was scratched type of issue.

Try importing it into the Music app. Music menu File > Import.
