Apple News Restriction

Greetings,

I've been having an issue to open Apple News on my iPhone XS. I continue to get

"Restrictions Enabled: Certain Apps, features, or services can't be seen or used when Restrictions are on. To use this app turn Restrictions off."

I've followed every possible step by step to resolve this issue but no luck what so ever. I'm on OS 15.6.1 if there is an updated method solve this issue, i would be greatly appreciative.

Glad it helped. Sorry you can't access News.

That error message is really not clear or helpful at all. The only reason I suspected it was a region issue is because my phone thought it was outside of the U.S. (don't know why) and it took me weeks to figure out why I couldn't access news because I kept messing with Screentime.

Glad you popped in. I am not sure I would have gotten to that step. It is amazing what you can fix when your device is set to the correct region.

When I had the problem, my phone appeared to be set to the correct region. It was maddening. I've forgotten how I finally figured it out. But, in this case, no amount of resetting settings would have helped. ;-)
