How do I reset passcode
my old iPad is asking for a passcode after I have cleared out my data.. I don’t remember the passcode. I have sold iPad & want new customer to be able set up iPad

If it’s truly the iPad’s passcode that’s the issue, read and follow the article linked above.

It may be that you did not thoroughly cleanse your iPad before selling it. In that case:
