After resetting Apple ID/password, I am still unable to update apps

I have reset my Apple ID Password and then tried to update apps but get the message 'Sign in to the iTunes Store. If you have an Apple ID, sign in with it here.' Entering the new password does not work.

I am IOS 15.6.1 iphone 8.

it says the apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store.


If you get a message -> Your purchase could not be completed, you need to update your payment method or add a new one

I tap review and then on re-entering the Apple ID and password it fails to login


When you get that message on your screen, tap Review -> review your account information.

Click Review repeatedly. 

Some people have only had a response after a second or subsequent click.

Try to download a free app at the App Store.

Log in at appleid.apple.com and make sure you have payment information stored there.
