My iPhone 7 Plus is on IOS Version 14.7.1. I can download snd verify version 15.6.1, but when I try to Install 15.6.1 I receive an error message that just says it an error occurred cannot install retry or remind me later.
No other info and I could not find this message in Apple help. Any suggestions? Thank you

If you’re being told that 14.7.1 is current, that means you have an old beta profile installed on the phone.
You need to delete the profile, reboot the phone, then re-try the update.

I had already reviewed the Apple help and it isn’t anything listed. I have enough memory, I can download and verify the release, I have deleted and tried to install iOS 15.6.1 twice. I don’t have a Mac or use a PC. There must be an issue that Apple just hasn’t identified since I did not receive an error code.
