All files in Documents has disappeared
Going to Documents in Finder, all files have disappeared. I can still find recently opened files in Microsoft WORD.

Did you happen to enable iCloud? If so, the documents may be in your iCloud Drive.
iCloud is enabled. I can find a few files there, but it is very cumbersome to use and many files do not appear there. Suggestions? This must be the problem but I don't know how to find a usable list of files like it was in Documents. Is there a way to return the files to my computer; or a way to access them easily and efficiently?
iCloud is enabled, but I can't find an efficient way to retrieve files from iCloud. Can "Documents" be brought back to my computer so they are more accessible or is there a way to access them from iCloud that I don't know about?
