I just did a backup of my computer so that I can re-install Mac Big Sur 11.6.8. Two questions:

#1. How do I know if the back-up is done? #2. Where and how do go to re-install Big Sur 11.6.8?

On my MacBook Pro 15 inch?

A - Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support (CA)

A - Reinstall as in Install Big Sur On Top of the existing installation ?


A - Re-Boot in Recovery Mode, two keyboard combo, Command r and choose Reinstall macOS.
