3gpp video

I have some old 3gpp that were taken on my iphone 5s that I cannot view on my iphone 13. They have been hanging around for a while (obviously) and I just never pursued the problem.

How can get them so I can view them (either with another video player, conversion, etc.). Some of them are of grandkids and my daughter dancing when she was young, so they have some sentimental value.

Another thought - can I convert them on my PC and then reload them to my phone?

Thanks.

Both options provided by Kurtosis and Jonathan are good. I've used both, and it's easy to play and convert the files you want with them (though I do prefer VLC). I've never tried with 3GGP, though. I would certainly make copies before attempting the conversion, though.

Both HandBrake and VLC Media Player are available for Mac and PC. The links are below-
