Sync and watch app problems, help!

Hello,

Sometime ago my old apple watch was lost. I tried to disconnect it from my phone and succeeded only in removing the app from my phones face. I now have a new apple watch and it will not connect to my phone.

I found the watch app in the app store. "Watch" seems to work through that app listing, but I see no options to download it.

The new apple watch will not sync to the old phone. I'm not sure if this is because the old watch may still be synced to it.

What do I do to sync my new watch to my old phone?

I should say here that my phone is quite old now and wonder if it is not compatible with this phone.

Please help.

Hello ellieeclectic,

Congratulations on your new Apple Watch! As for the Apple Watch not showing on the Home Screen of your iPhone, it's possible that it's located in the App Library. If so, you can search the App Library using the steps below. Upon locating the app, press and hold on the app icon, then tap Add to Home Screen when it appears. This will move the app back to the Home Screen of your device. You can also find helpful information about organizing the Home Screen and App Library via the following article.

  1. "Go to the App Library.
  2. Tap the search field, then enter the app that you're looking for.
  3. Tap the app to open it."
