Not updating

My laptop is not updating. It is plugged in and hit install multiple times. I am on good charter wifi. It only has the little multi colored circle going for days.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.1

Hi,

Try booting into Safe Mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support and see if you can update there. If not, boot normally and try again.

Do you have any antivirus or cleanup apps installed, if so uninstall them according to the developer's instructions before trying again.

Did you close down all running apps before initiating the update?
