Working with Images - Adding a border

Is there any software on my iMac or MBP that will put a border around an image?

I need to put borders around images on websites I make with Google Sites.

I'd like to put a border on the images before importing to a website I'm making.

Preview does not do it unless I draw a box and position it around the edge of the image. It takes a lot of time. I was hoping Preview might have that feature.

Anything on my Mac able to do that?

Although I've had webpage-creating-software in the past that will add a border around images,

Google Sites does NOT have a feature .

http://superbordersapp.com/ is a plug-in for Photos on the App Store

Also there some free standing applications: PicFrame, ImageFramer, Image Frame... there are others, I searched the store just using 'Border' as my search term.

You can hack the website code easily: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_border_image.asp

Adobe Photoshop is probably an expensive option.
