If you meant to leave the drive empty, nothing.
If you meant to put an OS on it, go back into the recovery system, DVD, or thumbdrive you used to erase the drive and run the Installer.

You need to have started up from something other than the previous system to erase it. Repeat the process you used to get into that.

I don’t have a DVD nor a thumbdrive. It’s my sons laptop and want to use it myself now. I was trying to have a clean slate for me.
don’t see a way to reinstall the OS ?! or go to the recovery system. It’s just a black screen with the big Q mark symbol
How do I go back to the recovery system to put on OS?
i don’t see any tabs or a way to do that
