Highlighted text in Mac Mail app unreadable in dark mode.

The highlighted text in my iMac's Catalina OS 10.15.7 Mail app is unreadable in dark mode (displays as white on yellow). Is there a fix?

Lost Mail preview pane OS Catalina 10.15.5 hi, just noticed that after a recent update i've lost a couple of settings in Mail. new messages are shown in bold but no longer change when i click on them (unbold). i have to actually open the message now for it to unbold. cant' seem to find a setting to change this. the only setting option is to show unread messages in bold. i no longer have a preview pane below my inbox messages. selecting 'choose side preview does not give me a side preview pane and deselecting that option does not give me the bottom preview pane. any advice would be appreciated!!

Disappeared preview pane in Mail v.13.4 Using Catalina v.10.15.7. No problems until now. In Mail, the preview pane has disappeared and I can't find it either to the side or the bottom. I click on an incoming email, and there is no preview. "Show side preview" is checked under the VIEW menu. Mail Help says there should be an option for bottom preview, but I don't see a bottom preview and I don't see an option for it. Other users seem to have had similar problems over the years, but I can't find a single helpful answer. I tried rebooting in Safe mode, but that did not solve it. Hoping for an answer! In the big scheme of things, this is not a huge problem, but it is annoying.

Howdy,

If the current Highlight Color is not working for you, are you okay with trying a different Highlight Color?

System Preferences > General > Highlight color

And I'm not sure if this will help, but I always like having Increase Contrast enabled.

System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Display > [√ ] Increase contrast
