Can I trade in an unopened 9th gen iPad? I’ve been given an iPad (9th gen) as a gift, however I already have another iPad so I wanted to trade it in for something else or sell it back. Is that possible even if I have not opened the product or turned the iPad on at all?

If it’s for Apple Store credit and the iPad is on the list of devices that has value at

Apple Trade In - Apple, sure. Even if the device can no longer be updated, it will need to be erased completely when you trade-in.
