apple care plus macbook repair

I took my 2019 Macbook Pro into the Apple Store in Bangkok on the 7th July due to constant crashing issues. The problem was identified and I was told that I might have to wait until mid August for the parts to arrive Thailand. Not a great situation but there was nothing else i could do except wait.

On the 15th August I was contacted to say that it might be another couple of weeks and then a few days ago I received another call to say it would now be delayed until mid September!

3 Year Apple care plus for a Macbook Pro is not cheap and I'm getting pretty hacked off with the delays, especially as I can't use the Macbook due to the issues.

Is this normal for Apple care plus repairs??

No, but the times in which we are living are abnormal from the perspective of recent history (perhaps the last century or so).

Everything is taking a ridiculous amount of time and there is no way to predict when or if that will change. It could be the way things will be from now on. It could get worse. Lots of people simply are not interested in working any more.

At least someone was interested in doing that much.
