Shuffle on (manually added) Playing List on MacOS Monterrey

I haven't been able to shuffle ON/OFF any playing queue(s). See picture below, those two icons are completely non functional. I have no idea under which circumstances they will work

Use the Controls submenus to control shuffle and repeat. It is possible to select an accent colour in Monterey's display settings which means that toggling the state of those two icons doesn't produce a visible change.

I can "toggle", from the menu, Shuffle ON/OFF, while Shuffle is on either Songs, Albums or Grouping and nothing happens. The Playing queue does not reorganizes. This capability works great on iPhone or iPad but Mac OS does not work. Furthermore; besides shuffle, repeat is also disable.
