i have passcode turned on in settings. Why does it always pop up on the top of my screen all the time?
i know I set it up but doesn’t it work in the background unless it is requesting a passcode to proceed?

What do you mean by that?
You need your Passcode to unlock your iPhone.
You can turn off your passcode if you wish (is not wise).

I don’t believe that I explain myself correctly I am where that the pass code is used to unlock your phone that’s not what I was referring to. I will try to attach a picture of her keeps on popping up at the top of my screen. This is what I see posted at the top of my pages. It’ll stay there until I swish it away.
Looks like you're using a 3rd party app to sync.
You have set a Passphrase to be required to sync.
Go to Settings and scroll down to see what app that is.
