Generators and Titles created on Motion are not working in FCP

Generators and Titles created on Motion are not working in FCP

All Generators and Titles created from scratch on Motion are not working. When I try to open them in FCP I get red and yellow warning sign, please help.

This suggests to me that your version of Motion is too new compared to the version of FCP.

Please tell us exactly which version of each application you have.

If in doubt, go to Final Cut Pro->About Final Cut Pro, and similarly for Motion.

As Tom suggests, double-check your installation in the Motion Templates folder. This excellent guide from fellow list member Fox_M can help.

Thanks, Tom, but I am talking about Generators that I created(or tried to) in Motion, not the PixelFilmStudios ones(those work fine). When saved to FCPX the thumbnail initially looks ok but then turns into the warning sign, I've tried to save it several times, and tried to create titles as well in Motion, but once in FCPX, they don't work.
