1st generation apple watch

So I just set up my 1st generation Apple Watch and it won’t send messages I’ve checked iMessages is turned on and it 100% is I have checked so many times.Also can you get the App Store on the first generation because if so I can’t work out how.

The watch app store requires WatchOS6 or higher.
