may daughter has iPad 2021version which we bought only earlier this month and when we FaceTime if I call her (or if her friends call her) the audio and video is glitchy. But if she calls me or her friends it is fine.
Any advice on how to fix?

First, try force restarting iPad - Force restart iPad - Apple Support
If the issue persists, try deleting and re-downloading FaceTime. Simply press and hold on the app, then press Remove App > Delete App. It can then be re-downloaded from the App Store.
Interesting- I'm afraid I don't know. Your best bet is probably to contact Apple Support with one of the options below.
