Photo curation process is way too slow on Macbook pro m1 pro

After bought new Macbook pro I transferred my photos (150 gb data) to it. Now photo curation process is taking like forever to complete. It's been so many days now and process is still stuck around 30% since many days. Why this process is so slow ? Or is it hanged ? Do I need to clear data and start process again from 0 ? Please help.

It is doing a lot of work, even looking at videos frame by frame. It is best to turn off all power saving and let the thing run over a few nights.
