Activation Lock 🔒

I completely have no idea 🤷🏾‍♂️ about the Apple ID and password that was last login on iPhone 5s. The owner decided to trash 🗑 because it was completely damaged. So I decided to take the phone rather than trashing it. Years later, I happened to go to China where I shopped for a new screen and home button at an affordable price and I fixed my phone by myself. Restored it to factory settings but unfortunately failed to set the device as a new device after trying all the options possible to unlock the phone without Apple ID and password.

Help me out rather than trashing 🗑 this iPhone 5s may cause environmental problems. Thanks 

the activation lock is not really on the iphone it's a theft protection measure on apples servers

it needs to be removed

How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support

if you don't know your appleID Recover Your Apple ID - Apple

if that does not help you then you need the assistance of apple

Get Support (apple.com) ,

And or

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

Apple will only help if you provide the original first purchase receipt or can legally prove that you inherited the iPhone from a deceased relative.

Your one and only chance at using that iPhone is to contact the previous owner and get them to remove the activation lock.

best you can do is to ask them Apple Support

I asked Apple for help unfortunately, the service attendant couldn’t help because I don’t know the Apple ID neither do I have the device purchase receipt 🧾 so recommended to trash 🗑 iPhone 📱. I’m so disappointed ☹️ for trying to good and Apple recycling service is not available in my area. Now the environment continues suffer 🤷🏾‍♂️
