iCloud syncing terribly slow on MacBook Air M1 while flawless on iPhone and iPad

I have a flawless and near to real time experience of iCloud syncing on iPhone and iPad, while it takes forever to sync on the Mac, both ways, to the point that it is 1000 times easier and faster for me to airdrop files.

This happens both for iCloud files or for files saved in Books.

Any idea? Thanks!

Icloud sync slower than google drive and box I have a MacBook pro with the M1 chip, an Imac with the 1 chip, excellent internet service and yet it take iCloud over 24 hours so sync -- I upgraded to 200 GB storage space, so plenty of space there. It's not the first time iCloud is super slow to sync. When I save a report I am working on, on G Drive or Box, it takes a few minutes to pick it up on another device. Not with iCloud, it is very disappointing no to have a super fast syncing interface especially when I am using 2 computers that are less than 18 months old. Suggestions? Thanks

iCloud sync is painfully slow and unreliable Hello, I pay for iCloud 2TB with the intention to be able to sync all my files across my units; iMac, MacBook Air, iPad and iPhone. However, the sync isn't smooth and seamless at all. It takes days and more to sync files added or downloaded on my MBA to iMac and vice versa. I expect them to sync immediately. Why don't they?

iCloud sync very slow iCloud syncing is very, very slow. I have the newest Mac OS, MacBook Air 2021, connected via optical cabel (wired connection), speed 96.86 Mbit/s download, 189.3 Mbit/s upload. I am trying to download/sync a 386 MB file from iCloud for 90 minutes- no success. I have repeated problems with syncing with iCloud. Please help. No VPN, no issues with OneDrive or similar services…the inly issue is iCloud. Similar issue on my iPhone and iPad
