I want to update my MacBook I can't download any thing

my Macbook pro is version 10.13.6 and want to update it to the new version

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

You need also to state the year of your Mac. Your Mac might not support a later operating system, which would account for why you are not being offered an upgrade to a later system.


A MacBook Pro from 2012, for example, can install Catalina (10.15), but the last macOS a 2011 MacBook Pro supports is 10.13 High Sierra.


A 2017 MacBook Pro will support the current macOS - Monterey.
