I bought a controller for arcade games through my apple tv and i cannot pair it

Xbox controller not reconnecting I’m using the Xbox Wireless Controller – Stormcloud Vapor Special Edition with my Apple TV 4K 128 GB. While it connects and works very well, every time I turn it off and back on, the Xbox controller doesn’t reconnect. I have to go to Bluetooth settings and ‘Forget Device’ and pair all over again. Am I missing something?

Xbox One Controller - Constantly Have to Forget Device and Reconnect My Xbox One controller connect and it stays connected while in use however once it turned off or not used for awhile My Apple TV will no longer reconnect to the controller. Forgetting the controller and reconnecting is a workaround, but on the Apple TV 4K, IPad, and IPhone, when I turn the controller back on, it does not reconnect on its own... You must forget the device and follow the steps to pair the controller to the device again. Is this the intended functionality? Why won’t the controller reconnect like any other Bluetooth device?
