Apple pay

I’ve got a new card. And I’ve had trouble adding my card to my phone. My wallet accepts it as a card but when I try to put it in ‘payment and delivery’ in Apple ID it doesn’t let me use that card. Any ideas on how to fix that I’ve had this problem for weeks.

Start here - Payment methods that you can use with your Apple ID - Apple Support


then here - Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods - Apple Support


and here - Apple ID - Official Apple Support


If the card was added to Apple Wallet without issues then this is going to be an Apple ID issue.


  1. What region was your card issued? (USA, Mexico, France, etc...)
  2. What region is your Apple ID set to? Check your Apple ID region to make sure it is correct. If it is correct, you may need to select the same region again. (Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support)
