As long as you are running the following at a minimum, you should be able to download Sims 4 to your Mac:

Mac recommended requirementsOS: Mac OS® X 10.11 or later
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 or better
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, AMD Radeon RX 560 or better
MEMORY: 8GB RAM
HARD DRIVE: 18 GB of Hard Drive space
