DIY iPad Stand
http://bevhoward.com/stuff/images/PadStand.jpg
Started with a 6" x 11" x 5/8" scrap piece of plywood.
All of the angle cuts and slot cuts are 25 degrees from vertical and made on the whole scrap piece, then cut that into three pieces.
The only important dimension is the distance from the slot to the rear of the stand which should be at least 5" to assure stability.
The slot is 3/8" wide and just under 1/2" deep and made by making multiple saw passes... there's no technical reason for the bottom of the slot to be smooth.
The "dish" was made using the end of the belt sander.
Works in portrait, landscape (and upside down if you need the cord attached.)
Hope that this information is of value.
