Overheated apple watch

So I was reading a book when I dropped my Apple Watch in the heater and I guess it had been in the heater like for an hour but when I got it out it had a overheating sign I waited and I started again it is working by is it broken?

Leave it to completely cool down for a couple of hours then restart it and see what happens from there.
