Overheated apple watch

So I was reading a book when I dropped my Apple Watch in the heater and I guess it had been in the heater like for an hour but when I got it out it had a overheating sign I waited and I started again it is working by is it broken?

My watch shut off and when I charge it does not come on but it gets very hot. I had my watch on my hand but all of a sudden it shut off. I see sign on watch like charging watch showing like snake type of sign with charger at end. I keep charging but it is getting very hot. Still watch does not come up.

Leave it to completely cool down for a couple of hours then restart it and see what happens from there.
