Every email address has a "domain" name component. Those with "imap.me.com" are for Apple's iCloud email. When using the Calendar app to set up a meeting, a meeting notice is sent to the attendees via an email message. It gets those address from the Contacts app on your iPhone. In turn, these are synced to your Apple ID's iCloud account. Alternately, if the recipient is not in your Contact app, you would need to enter their email address.
Regardless, if you still think this is an issue, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly and discuss it with them. To do so, simply select the "Get Support" link in the upper right-hand side of this forum's web page.
I assume you mean: @imap.me.com ... correct? Regardless, Potentially, these would come from entries in your Contacts app.
If this is not what you are referring to, you will have to provide a bit more detail on what you are trying to do and where exactly you are seeing these email domain addresses.
That’s it exactly. The weird thing is that it just began happening in the last month, and I haven’t changed my iPhone native contacts app that I’m aware of. When I check the contact entry for the name that is showing these odd email addresses, they are not there. They don’t appear to be coming from that Contact app. Where are they coming from, and how do I hide or delete them?
