iPhone 8 Plus showing a different passcode screen than the regular 6 dots and would not accept my passcode

Has anyone run into this issue and know a way to fix this?

You may have set an alphanumeric passcode. This is normal.

If you enter the wrong passcode on your iPhone Lock Screen too many times, an alert lets you know that your iPhone is disabled. (Learn what to do if you see "[Device] unavailable" or "Security Lockout" on your iPhone or iPad.)



Lock Screen Passcode or Screen Time Passcode.
