Apple ID verification keeps popping up

I am running 15.6.1 and this notification keeps popping up all the time. It appears to be happening on my watch as well.

Apple watch Hi, My watch sends me an Apple ID Verification prompt every 1 minute!!!! Every time I attempt to enter the password it says its not a valid one!!! I even changed my password (2 days ago) & it doesn't recognise that one!!! It has a capital letter midway through the password & I have no idea how to add that. I attempt to enter the password by writing it in, but it doesn't work!!! It is driving me nuts. I just want it to stop...
