launchd and logd take lots of Enery usage

Current device: MacBook Pro 2020 M1 8GB RAM

Issue: Overheating and Battery draining

Detail:

-My MBP suddenly heats up and the battery was going down too fast. When I check with the Activity Monitor and I found that: launchd takes over 200 Energy impact point, and the logd did more than 100.

-My power capability is still 100%.

-Because launchd and logd are running from root so I didn't quit them

What should I do now, thanks a lot!!

You may have a third-party system modification that is failing to start up and launchd is dutifully trying to keep it running. It also could be an Apple process, but not likely.

launchd is responsible for starting and stopping (mostly) background processes. If the process is set up to keep it running, launchd will attempt to start it up, it fails, then launchd repeatedly tries to keep it running.

logd would be logging all of the repetitive attempts to start up that process.

Open Console app, click on Log Reports, then find and select the launchd log. Are their repeating messages about trying to respawn some process?

Have you installed anything that required an installer package and admin password?

Or, migrated from another Mac?

Updated: I found that after restarting the computer fixed it. It works as usual again. As Barney-15E replied, It maybe because of Epic Game Launcher I have installed before. I have uninstalled it as well. Thank you everyone for providing me solution, guides.
