Saying No backup space

It says my iPhone XR has not been backed up in seven days because I don’t have enough iCloud storage but I bought 50GB and I’m only using 5GB

A little calculation:

Which iPhone XR do you have? -> 64 GB or 128 GB or 256 GB ?

iCloud storage -> 50 GB or 200 GB or 2 TB.

Looks like your iCloud storage is not enough, you need you upgrade, see this Apple article: Upgrade to iCloud+
