How can I install apps on my child's ipad if I do not have an apple device to approve?
Bought ipad for my daughter but cannot approve app install requests as I do not have an apple device myself. What is the work around, please?

This is such a ridiculous solution. This does not solve the problem at hand, and adds a burden to another party. Do better.

We understand the importance of parental control with so much available today. While the Ask to Buy feature would require you to have an Apple device and set up Family Sharing, there still may be a few things you can do to prevent unwanted content on your daughter's iPad to see if it will work out to suit your needs.
If you have another family member with an Apple device, if they are an adult and would be willing to set up Family Sharing and enable Ask to Buy, that would be one solution.
Depending on your daughters age, if you set up the Apple ID, you could control the password, and require the password to be used when purchasing. This would require you to be present when purchases are made. See the two links below.
