Google maps behaving erratically and always zooming out

I have a 13-inch MacBook Pro, 2020 edition, with macOS Monterey, version 12.5.1 As of a few days ago, Google maps started behaving erratically: every time I put a cursor on a map (whether using a mouse or the trackpad), the map quickly zooms out, all the way to the map of the U.S.

This happens with all three browsers: Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

Does anyone know what causes this problem and how to fix it?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Hello Ilya-K,

Since this issue occurs on all of your devices, we recommend reaching out to the Google Support for assistance with their site. They will be the experts at supporting you with this since it's not an Apple website: Google Maps Help
