That depends on the subscription of the app.
Go to App Store, search an app, then you will see 'In-App Purchases a monthly subscription or an annual subscription.
You should look at the conditions of the subscription, check with the app developer.
Apple subscription for example ⤵️
if you have an iCloud subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your email box.
You pay monthly for iCloud storage. You cannot change it.
Apple music -> $4.99 monthly subscription and $99 annual subscription.
