Lightning port to AUX adapter not working

When i Plug my headset, connected to the official apple Lightning port to AUX adapter, it will not produce sound.

It says it has connected, but will not produce sound.

I have tried using a different adapter, but it will not work.

I have tried Using it on a different Phone, and it works.

I have tried the wired apple Airplugs, and they work.

I have cleaned the port, turned the phone off and on, updated, removed the adapter, but nothing works.

what can I do?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Hello HansLudvig.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you're experiencing issues with your Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter. Specifically, it appears to be working intermittently. We can understand how this would be an issue. It also looks like you've updated your devices, make sure you've cleaned your ports of debris, and tested different accessories for further isolating. Those were great steps to try, they're even mentioned in the following resource here: If your headphones don't work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If these steps don't help and you recently purchased your adapter, it does come with a limited 1-year warranty. You might to consider reaching out to Apple Support for additional assistance. Just in case, you can use the following link to reach them: Get Support - Apple

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Cheers.
