Using Time Machine

Hi Anyone.

I am trying to restore a couple of deleted mailboxes re time machine.

All is good in Mail/Time Machine and looks like it should, everything is cursor active apart from the 'Restore' tab. The selection bar of back up dates on the right does the usual highlight red and enlarges when scrolled over but it cant be activated.

The receding windows will activate coresponding to which mailbox is selected but none of the windows can be selected.

It is sort of like it's semi frozen?

macOS Catalina 10.15.7

Thanks.

Scott.

If you deleted the mail accounts, just recreate them with the required credentials. Since the emails are actually on the web mail's server, and all Mac mail does is allow local control, once recreated, the emails should show up.

You can also access the emails directly via the web server account by going to the website and logging in.
