I am trying to delete large attachments on my iPhone. There is an option under Settings > General>Iphone Storage and then there is under recommendations Review large Attachments.
Now this option is a available on my Iphone 8 but I also have an Iphone 8 plus and that option is not there
Any idea how I can get that option on my Iphone 8 Plus?
Help much appreciated.
Hi Chris. I just don't get it, why would one phone have this option and the other not. Both using the same IOS? This puzzles me. Hoping that you can tell me how I would get the "review Large attachments" available on my Iphone 8 Plus. since this proves a very effective way to manage large attachments. I like to have this option on my Iphone 8 plus

Use recommendations to optimize storage
In the Storage section of Settings, your device might offer recommendations for optimizing your storage. Tap Show All to see all the recommendations for your device.
Read the description of each recommendation, then tap Enable to turn it on or tap the recommendation to review the contents you can delete.

Since the Review Large Attachments storage feature is a recommendation, it's not guaranteed to be present on your device.
Check out the verbiage how the storage recommendation might be offered in the article that was provided.
"You might see a list of recommendations for optimizing your device's storage, followed by a list of installed apps and the amount of storage each one uses."
