How to I turn off the location alert in the upper left corner of the Home Screen?

How to switch off "add time to leave" when a location is added to a calendar event in Ventura? Since the update to Ventura, Calendar events get a "time to leave" alert entry by default when a location is added to an event. I do not want these mostly error prone and incorrect alerts. Is there a way to switch off creation of these alerts? One can manually remove them, but I want to avoid that they are created by default.

You will want to quit/close the app that is using your location.
